We are a well-established general contractor with a strong multifamily portfolio spanning ground up residential, mixed-use, and affordable housing projects. About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Multifamily Project Manager to lead projects from preconstruction through final closeout. The ideal candidate is a strong communicator, decisive leader, and detail-oriented professional who thrives in a fast-paced construction environment and takes ownership of their projects from start to finish.
Responsibilities
- Manage all phases of multifamily construction projects from preconstruction through final turnover
- Develop and maintain project budgets, schedules, and forecasts
- Lead owner, architect, and subcontractor meetings — OAC and internal
- Review and negotiate subcontractor scopes, contracts, and change orders
- Manage RFIs, submittals, pay applications, and project documentation in Procore
- Coordinate with superintendents and field teams to ensure schedule and quality alignment
- Track project costs, identify variances, and implement corrective action
- Build and maintain strong relationships with owners, developers, and design teams
- Oversee project closeout including punch list, warranties, and final documentation
- Mentor and support assistant project managers and project engineers
Qualifications
- 5-10 years of project management experience with a general contractor
- Multifamily ground up experience required — wood frame, podium, or mid-rise preferred
- Strong understanding of construction contracts, scheduling, and cost management
- Proficiency in Procore, Bluebeam, Microsoft Project, and Excel
- Ability to read and interpret architectural, structural, and MEP plans
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field preferred — equivalent experience considered
- OSHA 30 certification preferred
