Job Overview Provides basic nursing care to patients under the direction and supervision of assigned leadership and as applicable to assigned area(s). Key Responsibilities Delivers and assists in the delivery of basic patient care under the guidance and direction of assigned leadership. Communicates with leadership to coordinate workloads and patient priorities. Performs accurate CNA assessment while taking patient’s vital signs. Informs appropriate stakeholders of any abnormal vital signs and/or changes in the patient’s condition, per department protocol. Maintains patient privacy in accordance with Logan Health policies and HIPAA guidelines. Assists patients with activities of daily living as applicable to assigned area(s). Accurately and timely documents care rendered to the patient as defined by department procedure. Assists in maintaining inventory, restocking rooms, and maintaining equipment for safety and cleanliness. Assists with maintaining compliance with Medicare and applicable regulatory standards. Works with stakeholders to set and maintain priorities for patient care tasks. Assists in administrative duties and day‑to‑day operations per department procedure. Promotes a safe and therapeutic environment and provides personal care per department procedure. Maintains regular and consistent attendance as scheduled by department leadership. Qualifications Current Montana Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) certificate required. Current CPR certification required for the assigned area(s). Previous work experience in a healthcare setting preferred. Home Health Aide certification preferred or must be obtained within six (6) months of hire. Knowledge of confidentiality laws including HIPAA guidelines. Excellent organizational and detail‑oriented skills. Self‑starter with strong critical‑thinking and prioritization abilities. Commitment to teamwork and confidentiality. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate with various audiences. Excellent interpersonal skills to manage sensitive and confidential situations with tact, professionalism, and diplomacy. Computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite; ability to learn other software as needed. Schedule Shift: Variable (United States of America) – PRN (Casual, As Needed, or Per Diem). Schedules are set to accommodate the requirements of the position and the needs of the organization and may be adjusted as needed.
