Accepting Applications Radiology Technologist Full Time Rate of Pay Starting $27.00 Hours vary Flexible Scheduling (8 or 10) Occasional weekends and on call On-call pay as well as callback pay Education Completed Radiologic Technology accredited program Certification ARRT required within 1 year of hire CPR certification within 90 days of hire Job Summary The Radiologic Technologist works as a team member of the Radiology Department. Under the general direction of the Radiology Manager, this position provides services to produce images of soft tissues, organs, and bones. This is done using equipment including x-ray machines, magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) scanners, and computed (axial) tomography (CT/CAT) machines. Radiologic technologists can specialize in specific areas of the radiology field such as sonography, mammography, and nuclear medicine; focusing on patient satisfaction as well as fiscal responsibility.
