Respiratory Therapist

This is a night shift position from 19:00 to 07:00.

The Respiratory Therapist, either registered or certified by the National Board of Respiratory Care, is integral to providing Cardiopulmonary Services. This role involves adhering to protocols approved by the medical staff and department policies to deliver timely diagnostic and therapeutic services to both inpatients and outpatients.

Responsibilities:

• Assist physicians with invasive and non-invasive procedures
• Deliver medicated aerosols via medical compressed gas
• Maintain airways and manage ventilators
• Insert arterial lines and perform intubations
• Conduct pulmonary function studies and cardiac/pulmonary stress tests
• Perform blood gas analysis

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Must have 2 years of recent RT experience including intubation experience
• Must possess NBRC RRT or CRT certification
• Must have a valid Ohio RT license
• Must have current ACLS & BLS certifications (American Heart Association)

This is a 13-week contract position.
