Commercial Insurance BrokerCommercial Lines Producer/Broker to generate new business, develop client relationships, and provide tailored commercial insurance solutions. The role will manage the sales cycle from prospecting and risk analysis through proposal, negotiation, and closing.Prospect for new commercial insurance business through cold calling, networking, referrals, and targeted leads.Build and maintain relationships with business owners, C-suite executives, referral sources, and strategic partners.Analyze client operations and risk exposures to recommend appropriate insurance coverage.Develop, present, and negotiate new business and renewal proposals.Maintain knowledge of commercial insurance products, coverage options, market trends, and competitive positioning.Collaborate with the Business Development Director and sales team to identify opportunities and achieve revenue goals.Manage multiple prospects, accounts, deadlines, and sales activities while maintaining accurate records.Address client concerns and objections and provide appropriate insurance solutions.Ensure compliance with applicable commercial insurance laws and regulations.Valid and current California insurance license for commercial, personal, or group health insurance.Minimum 2–3 years of successful insurance sales experience in commercial, personal, or group health insurance.Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.Strong knowledge of insurance products, risk analysis, and coverage solutions.Excellent negotiation, presentation, and client relationship skills.Strong organizational and analytical abilities.Proficiency with standard office software and ability to learn insurance systems and tools.Commercial Lines insurance sales or brokerage experience.Existing commercial book of business or established referral network.Experience working with business owners and C-suite decision-makers.Insurance designations such as CIC, CPCU, or ARM.Independent agency with over 70 years of experience serving California communities.Strong direct-market and carrier relationships.Collaborative team environment with experienced professionals.Potential path to agency ownership for the right candidate.Competitive benefits package and opportunities for professional growth.
