Position Summary

Ensera is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Janitorial / Facilities Custodian to help maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment. This position is responsible for the daily cleaning and upkeep of office spaces, restrooms, break areas, production support areas, and common spaces while ensuring the facility meets cleanliness and safety standards.

Essential Responsibilities

General Facility Maintenance

• Clean interior and exterior glass doors, including the main entrance, employee entrance, and lunchroom doors (three times per week).
• Maintain the cleanliness of viewing corridors, walls, floors, windowsills, blinds, and baseboards.
• Remove scuff marks and other debris from walls and floors as needed.

Kitchen & Breakroom

• Empty trash receptacles and clean trash can lids daily.
• Clean and sanitize countertops, sinks, microwaves, toaster ovens, and other kitchen surfaces.
• Empty and clean the dishwasher.
• Organize and store clean dishes.
• Clean and sanitize lunchroom tables and ensure chairs are neatly arranged.
• Sweep and mop kitchen and lunchroom floors daily.
• Refill paper towel dispensers.
• Clean refrigerators weekly (Fridays after 1:30 p.m.).

Changeout Room

• Replenish consumable supplies as needed.
• Sweep and mop floors daily.
• Replace floor mats as necessary.

Restrooms

• Clean and sanitize sinks, mirrors, toilets, and other restroom fixtures daily.
• Sweep and mop floors.
• Refill toilet paper, paper towels, and soap dispensers.
• Ensure restrooms remain clean, stocked, and presentable throughout the day.

Office Areas

• Empty trash receptacles daily.
• Vacuum office floors three times per week.
• Dust blinds, windowsills, and other surfaces twice per week.

Qualifications

• Previous janitorial, housekeeping, or custodial experience preferred but not required.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Dependable, reliable, and able to manage daily cleaning responsibilities efficiently.
• Ability to safely use cleaning chemicals and follow all safety procedures.
• Experience operating standard cleaning equipment such as vacuums, mops, brooms, and floor cleaning tools.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
• Frequently bend, reach, stoop, lift, push, and pull throughout the workday.
• Ability to push and maneuver cleaning carts and mop buckets.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds on a regular basis.
• Must be able to perform repetitive cleaning tasks in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
