Do you love helping people? We’re looking for a reliable, enthusiastic bell attendant to become our newest team member and help our guests have a great stay with us. You’ll meet and greet guests when they arrive and leave, bring luggage to guest rooms, support the front desk staff, and assist guests as needed to ensure that when they leave, they’re already looking forward to their next stay. $16.50 hourly

• Welcome guests upon their arrival to the hotel and see them off upon departure
• Carry luggage for guests from their vehicle up to their room in a safe and professional way
• Ensure no guest is left unattended by supporting the front desk staff with check-in and service requests
• Make sure the bell desk is always neat and tidy
• Respond to guest requests and perform other duties as assigned such as taking dry cleaning, delivering room service, and checking luggage for storage

• Ability to lift over 25 pounds and stand for long periods
• Displays exceptional customer service and communication skills
• A high school diploma or equivalent such as a GED is required
• Must have a flexible schedule with availability to work weekends and holidays
• At least 1 year of previous experience in hospitality as a bell attendant, concierge, or similar customer service position

Located on the coastline of Hilo Bay, the Grand Naniloa Hilo, a DoubleTree by Hilton, is 30 miles from Hawaii Volcanoes National Park. All rooms have free WiFi.

Guest rooms offer garden, ocean, or harbor views of Hilo Bay, Hamakua Coast, or Hilo Harbor. Each room is equipped with a flat-screen TV and a refrigerator, and bathrooms are finished with German limestone. Suites boast a kitchenette.
