Respiratory Practitioner II

Hourly Wage Estimate: $29.72 - $46.60 / hour Job Summary And Qualifications As a Respiratory Therapist, you’ll play an essential role in guiding patients through both routine care and critical moments. You’ll perform diagnostic and therapeutic procedures while managing invasive and noninvasive ventilation across a variety of care settings. The Respiratory Practitioner II provides for the implementation and coordination of Respiratory Care procedures based upon the Policies and Procedures of the Respiratory Care Department. Responsibilities Perform all routine respiratory procedures and special procedures within scope of practice. Maintain and improve clinical competence, practice universal precautions, and maintain and clean equipment. Provide consultation, collaboration, and education to medical staff, multi-disciplinary care team members, and patients/families. Embrace and consistently demonstrate Swedish Memorable Care initiatives, encompassing both patients and employees. Position Requirements NBRC accredited RRT credential or CRT if grandfathered in Current Colorado Respiratory License. Current BLS. ACLS certification through AHA or ARC required. PALS preferred. NRP preferred. Graduate of AMA accredited Respiratory Therapist Program. 6 months previous experience.
