Maintenance Custodian Associate

Overview Base pay range: $16.00/hr - $23.00/hr. The hourly wage range for this position is $16.00 to $23.00. The actual pay will be based on skills and experience. This role is a Maintenance Associate at Sam’s Club, focused on keeping facilities safe, clean, and welcoming for members and associates. Responsibilities Maintain a safe, clean facility by performing maintenance as necessary, including responding to spills and operating floor scrubbers. Keep parking lots, restrooms, and floors clean and well-maintained to create a positive first and last impression for members. Follow safety standards and procedures, including conducting safety sweeps, forklift spotting procedures, and proper handling/disposal of hazardous materials. Maintain appropriate levels of Company-approved chemicals and supplies, rotate stock, store chemicals properly, and place orders to replenish supplies as needed. Assist with environmental sustainability practices per Company guidelines when disposing of cardboard, plastics, and trash. Perform cleaning across facility areas (floors, windows, restrooms, receptacles) using approved methods and equipment. Ensure a safe and clean environment for Members and Associates by performing maintenance and responding to issues promptly. Contribute to a positive customer experience by helping ensure a great first and last impression for customers. Qualifications Minimum Qualifications: Must be 18 years of age or older.
