About the Role

The Shift Leader is one of the most important roles in our restaurant. You are the standard-setter the person who determines what kind of shift it's going to be the moment you walk in the door. Your emotional consistency, decision-making, and real-time coaching directly shape both the guest experience and our team's growth.

This role is roughly 8590% operational leadership and 1015% coaching and development. Every shift, you'll be focused on three things:

• Coaching & Training Leading with our values, developing your team's capacity, and using tools like the Pathway app to guide growth
• Protecting the Guest Experience Modeling CORE 4 (Eye Contact, Smile, Friendly Tone, My Pleasure), winning hearts every day, and recovering quickly when things don't go as planned
• Smooth Operations Owning the flow of your shift across Drive-Thru, Front Counter, Catering, and On-Demand

What You'll Be Responsible For

• Leading your assigned shift with full ownership of operations, deployment, and team positioning
• Executing food safety, quality standards, and speed of service targets
• Running effective pre-shift huddles and communicating clear expectations
• Giving in-the-moment coaching using the ESRC model (Expectations, Skills, Resources, Consequences)
• Monitoring labor efficiency and identifying operational bottlenecks in real time
• Ensuring immediate and generous guest recovery when needed
• Holding the team accountable with professionalism and care
• Opening or closing at least once per week, with a minimum of 15 hours per week
• Developing future leaders through consistent observation and feedback
