Job Summary The Registered Nurse (RN) is a professional caregiver who assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates patient care in an outpatient clinic setting. The RN works within the nursing process, using technology, therapeutic interventions, and evidence‑based practice to coordinate care with physicians and other health team members. Responsibilities Prioritize and triage patient care and implement established standing orders and protocols. Perform procedures and therapies consistent with training and licensure. Obtain patient consent, maintain confidentiality, and document patient history, vital signs, and health risk factors. Administer prescribed medications, monitor response, and document progress using automated systems. Collaborate with physicians, other providers, and community resources to prevent or resolve problems. Educate patients and families on health status, maintenance, and management of acute and chronic conditions. Participate in multidisciplinary teams to improve patient care processes and outcomes. Track quality assurance data and monitor for acute and chronic care management. Minimum Qualifications Graduate of an accredited nursing program. Current, valid Registered Nurse license from the state licensing board. Basic Life Support (BLS) or Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification. At least one year of related experience in a clinic or acute hospital nursing setting. Preferred Qualifications Bachelor of Science in Nursing. IBCLC certification. Wound care certification. Work Details Location: Miles City, Montana – Holy Rosary OB/GYN Clinics and General Surgery Clinic. Shift: Full time (40 hours per week). Schedule either five 8‑hour shifts or four 10‑hour shifts. Scheduled weekly hours: 40. Hourly rate: $29.91 – $45.33 (depending on experience). Benefits Benefits eligible: Yes. Additional Job Responsibilities Assist with provider results and support lactation consultations. Provide wound care services. Perform general nursing care as outlined in the scope of performance. Strong communication skills with staff, patients, and visitors. Sound judgment and composure in emergency situations. Positive, caring attitude toward patients. Ability to read labels, assess patient needs, and operate monitors and equipment. Manual dexterity for manipulating equipment, typing, and preparing medications.
