CNC Programmer

Job Description We are currently seeking an experienced CNC Programmer to program our CNC machines for new and existing projects using drawings, prints and tool lists. Responsibilities Program CNC machine from start to finish using drawings, prints and tool lists. Maximize efficiency and productivity with tooling and fixtures. Write programs at the machine for simple to medium complexity parts. Change worn and damaged tools in machines through the production process. Load programs and tools into CNC machines; verifying programs. Troubleshoot problematic set-ups and document changes. Work with Quality Control. Perform basic machine maintenance. Train machine operators as needed. Requirements 3+ years experience in manufacturing Experience programming 3 – 5 axis CNC machines Prior experience with tooling and fixtures Ability to troubleshoot and identify programming errors. Must have Solid Works & MasterCam experience. Physical Requirements Safely and effectively lift, carry, and move objects of varying weights. Bending, stooping, kneeling, reaching, climbing, balancing, standing, and walking for extended periods and maintain the necessary physical dexterity and coordination. Work in various environmental conditions, which may include exposure to varying temperatures, weather, and noise levels. Process Management Being a team player and working cross-functionally. Managing resources and relationships – internally and externally. Consistently evaluating processes – recommending changes when appropriate. Communicating throughout organization. Initiating new, creative ideas. Having a willingness to be flexible – adapting to new paths. Able to manage multiple projects. Strong problem solving/troubleshooting practices.
