This role emphasizes rapid prototyping, practical implementation, and strong collaboration with business stakeholders to improve efficiency, decision-making, and operational performance. The successful candidate will focus on document intelligence, workflow automation, and enterprise data integration-delivering scalable solutions with high adoption and impact.This position is located in Round Rock, Texas. Key ResponsibilitiesDesign and deliver AI solutions, including LLM-based applications, enterprise search, and document intelligence workflowsAct as an internal AI consultant by facilitating discovery workshops, identifying opportunities across business functions, building stakeholder alignment, and leading change management efforts that drive adoption and measurable business outcomesBuild proof-of-value prototypes that demonstrate quick wins and measurable business impactDevelop and maintain AI systems across data ingestion, data processing, model integration, evaluation, deployment, APIs, and user-facing interfaces where applicableIntegrate AI solutions with enterprise systems, data platforms, and APIsEnsure solutions are grounded in trusted, governed enterprise dataPartner with IT and security to align with architecture, access controls, and cybersecurity standardsApply responsible AI practices, including testing, monitoring, data privacy, and human oversightCommunicate AI capabilities, limitations, and business value to both technical and non-technical stakeholdersSupport adoption by helping stakeholders understand how AI fits into existing business processesEducation and ExperienceBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Data Science, or a related technical field (or equivalent practical experience)3+ years of experience in software engineering, data engineering, AI/ML engineering, or a related roleHands-on experience building, testing, and deploying AI or machine learning solutionsExperience translating business problems into technical solutions and working with cross-functional stakeholdersExperience leading discovery sessions, stakeholder engagement, change management initiatives, or technology adoption efforts in a business environmentCore Technical SkillsProficiency in using tools such as Python or similar technologies and API-based software developmentExperience with generative AI, including large language models, prompt engineering, and embeddingsStrong understanding of SQL, enterprise data platforms, and data governanceApplied AI & SystemsExperience building AI applications, document processing, and enterprise search patternsAbility to evaluate and optimize AI systems for performance, accuracy, and costFamiliarity with model monitoring, evaluation, and observabilityResponsible AI & DeliveryUnderstanding of responsible AI practices including privacy, security, and human-in-the-loop designStrong troubleshooting, documentation, and production support skillsAbility to clearly communicate technical concepts and drive stakeholder alignmentPreferred Skills+Experience with document intelligence or enterprise knowledge systemsExperience with workflow automation, backend development, or lightweight UI developmentExposure to production AI operations, governance frameworks, or model risk managementExperience serving as an internal consultant, product owner, or technical advisor for business transformation initiativesWhat we offer as an employerAt Ovivo, teamwork is at the heart of everything we do.
