Description

• Deliver personalized speech therapy interventions, concentrating on language, communication skills, voice, and safe swallowing practices.
• Collaborate effectively with an interdisciplinary team of physical and occupational therapists, nurses, doctors, caregivers, and families for holistic care.
• Educate patients and families, equipping them with strategies to support healing and progress beyond the therapy sessions.
• Occasionally perform inpatient evaluations and therapy interventions, ensuring seamless continuity of care for all patients.
• Keep precise documentation that meets all necessary state, federal, and organizational standards.
• Engage in continuous education and professional development, staying abreast of the latest advancements in the field.

Education

• A master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
• Completion of a supervised Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) if not already certified by ASHA.

Certifications

• Valid state license as a Speech Language Pathologist .
• Preferred: Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 30 days of hire.
