Experience: Minimum of 1 year in a medical front desk or medical office setting. Phone & Service Skills: Proven expertise handling high-volume inbound patient calls with empathy, clarity, and professionalism. Insurance Savvy: Solid understanding of medical insurance, pre-certifications, authorizations, and insurance portals (e.g., PEAR Portal). Referral Management: Direct experience entering, processing, and tracking patient referrals. Tech-Smart: Strong computer skills, fast data entry, and multi-tasking capabilities in a fast-paced environment. What You’ll Do Serve as the reassuring, expert voice on 100% of inbound patient phone calls. Guide patients seamlessly through scheduling, referrals, and insurance inquiries. Cross-train at Check-In and Check-Out to maintain a smooth, friendly patient flow. Collaborate directly with providers and staff as an integral member of a physician-owned care team.
