The Atrium Health Department of Urology is part of the nationally recognized Levine Children's Hospital by U.S. News & World Report, (2021 edition). We are a growing academic department, with its own residency and fellowship programs, that provides comprehensive treatment of urologic conditions to patients of all ages.

We are seeking a BC/BE Urologist with strong interpersonal skills and a desire to work in a close-knit, community-oriented setting to a highly skilled Urologist in our Department. The Lincolnton Urology practice is part of our urology faculty program including 18 faculty encompassing the breadth of urologic care and a fully accredited residency program with two residents per year as well as a Urologic Oncology Fellowship. As part of the Department, all faculty will have the opportunity to participate in weekly Urology education conferences, which foster continuous learning, collaboration, and professional growth. Additionally, the Urology Residency Program reflects a strong institutional emphasis on education- creating a rich, academic environment that benefits the entire care team. The interested candidate will have the opportunity to participate in research and education opportunities and specific projects to advance the care of urologic patients across the system. Leadership structures align community urologists with mentors locally and across the region and facilitate pathways to impact positive change. In addition, the AH Medical Group is renowned for its advanced programs around physician leadership development, physician well-being and career development. Priority will be given to applicants with a strong commitment to resident training.
