Activities Coordinator - Part TimeHorseshoe Cove Bradenton, FL, US Regular Part Time $15 per hourThe Activities Coordinator is responsible for planning, organizing, and facilitating engaging activities, events, and programs that enhance the well-being, social interaction, and enjoyment of guests and residents at Sun's resorts and communities.Job DutiesCreates, plans, coordinates, and attends all activities such as, picnics, sporting events, dances, and dinnersSets-up and cleans-up after eventsProvides leadership, motivation, training and support to team membersPromote a fun and relaxing atmosphere for guestsBe a role model for Sun standards and reputationHelps to maintain a tracking sheet to monitor attendance, vendor utilization, income, and expenses for each activityAssists with ensuring all invoices are paid in a timely manner; documents all paymentsEnsure a high standard of activities, services, and products are being offeredAssists with producing a calendar of events for the next calendar season, while ensuring to stay within budget expectationsPurchase supplies to ensure activities & group events are carried out successfullyAssists with preparing the weekly newsletter and distributes to resort residents and guestsHelps with and organizes fundraising activities to support the departmentMaintains accurate office and activity supply inventoriesEnsures all equipment and supplies are kept in good conditionOther duties as assignedRequirementsHigh School Diploma or GEDAbility to work well independently as well as on a teamBasic computer proficiency, including the ability to use email and the internetDemonstrated ability to manage multiple competing prioritiesExcellent written and verbal communication skillsAbility to negotiate prices/contracts on behalf of the resortStrong organization skillsMust have a valid driver's licenseREWARDING BENEFITSAt Sun Outdoors, you will be part of an industry-leading organization where you will be challenged, inspired, rewarded, and transformed.
