Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Travel | 13-Week Assignment | Full-Time | Days (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM) | Rotating Weekends | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a Labor and Delivery unit following AWHONN staffing guidelines (1:1 for labor and recovery; 1:2 for Cytotec or Cervidil patients)
• Perform and assist with vaginal deliveries and cesarean sections, including OR circulation for C-sections
• Monitor maternal and fetal status using continuous fetal monitoring equipment
• Assist with newborn delivery and immediate postpartum care, including catching newborns as needed
• Utilize electronic medical record system (CPN/GE) for accurate and timely documentation
• Float to Mother Baby and Women's Surgery units as needed

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum of 2 years of Labor and Delivery experience
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications
• Proficiency with fetal monitoring and OR equipment
• Ability to work rotating weekends

Preferred Experience / Skills

• OR circulation experience for cesarean sections
• Experience catching newborns at delivery
• Antepartum care experience
