Position Overview Help Desk Technician at TEKsystems, Brentwood, TN. Contract to Hire. 90‑95% of the time spent on phone support for government employees, the remaining time on documentation, imaging, and ticket resolution. Minimum entry‑level experience required. Responsibilities Provide phone and remote technical support for government employees, resolving hardware, software, and application issues. Troubleshoot Windows 10 and Windows 7 environments, Office 365, and proprietary applications. Perform password resets and user account management in Active Directory. Log calls, document solutions, and maintain call logs in the ticketing system. Handle imaging and equipment ordering. Participate in reporting and documentation of common ticket issues. Engage in finance‑related support approximately 70% of the time. Qualifications Experience in a help desk or customer service environment. Strong troubleshooting skills for Windows 10 (and Windows 7). Proficiency with ticketing systems, phone support, and remote assistance tools. Experience with Active Directory user management and password reset. Ability to multitask in a fast‑paced environment. Excellent communication and customer‑service skills. Personable, team‑oriented, and willing to volunteer for extra work. Compensation & Benefits Pay: $18.00–$22.00 per hour.
