Ophthalmic Laser Technician

Join Our Team as an Ophthalmic Laser Technician! Are you passionate about providing top-notch care to patients undergoing ophthalmic surgical procedures? Outpatient Surgical Care, Ltd. is seeking a dedicated Ophthalmic Laser Technician to join our team in Scottsdale, AZ. As a part of our team, you will have the opportunity to work in a Medicare/AAAHC certified facility equipped with state-of-the-art technology to ensure the best quality of care for our patients. Key Responsibilities: Prepare, calibrate, and operate laser systems (e.g. YAG, SLT, and femtosecond lasers). Assist surgeons during laser treatments, anticipating needs and ensuring smooth procedural flow. Ensure compliance with laser safety protocols, including laser safety standards and patient protection measures. Administer eyedrops or local anesthetics as directed. Maintain patient records and document procedures accurately. Educate patients on pre- and post-operative instructions. Collaborate with other healthcare staff to ensure smooth patient flow. Requirements: Knowledge of laser physics, ophthalmic instrumentation, and patient care. Ability to work in a clinical environment with precision and attention to detail. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Basic Life Support certification Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent; associate's degree or certificate in ophthalmic technology preferred.
