Radiology, Full-time radiologist

The radiology department at Riverside University Health System (RUHS) has an opening for a diagnostic radiologist. This position is available within the Loma Linda University Faculty Medical Group, Department of Radiology affiliation with Riverside University Health System. Located in the Inland Empire, Riverside, California, the hospital is conveniently situated halfway between Los Angeles and Palm Springs. The ideal candidate would have a broad interest in a variety of imaging studies; mammography is optional. The department recently began a radiology residency with an integrated clinical year in July 2022, and the role includes resident teaching and quarterly lectures to family and internal medicine residents. Responsibilities also include participation in ongoing quality improvement and scholarly activity. Call Coverage and Work Hours Full‑time coverage consists of 13 weeks per year for fluoroscopic studies, weekend film reading from home, and shared holiday coverage with the team. Current coverage typically includes 1–2 shifts per week from home—either 7 am‑4 pm or 11 am‑8 pm—with the remaining time on site from 8 am‑5 pm.
