Warehouse/Delivery Driver - No CDL NeededWe are looking for a fast paced and hardworking Warehouse/Delivery Driver to join our company. The Warehouse/Delivery Driver will be required to adhere to our protocols while observing standard safety guidelines.Must be 21 years of age with a good driving record over the past 3 years.The primary function of the Warehouse/Delivery Driver is to provide excellent customer service by making prompt and courteous deliveries of customer orders, making pick-ups as necessary, and performing general warehouse duties and customer assistance as needed.Equal Employment Opportunity/Affirmative Action EmployerDuties:The below items and will increase with the demonstrated performance, productivity, and ability of worker, as determined by the supervisor.Prepares orders by pulling from stock for the purpose of meeting delivery requirementsProcesses a variety of documents and/or materials for the purpose of disseminating information to appropriate parties and ensuring the proper storage of materials and suppliesReceives stock and non-stock items for the purpose of ensuring specifications, quantity and quality of orders are correct and inspecting items for damageResponds to inquiries of staff and vendors for the purpose of providing information and direction regarding status of deliveries, reporting discrepancies to appropriate personnelStocks equipment and supplies for the purpose of maintaining required inventory levelsManually load or unload materials onto or off pallets, skids, or lifting deviceLoad and unload trucks, vans, or automobiles.Verify the contents against pick ticket.Drive vans and box trucks to residential and commercial job sitesObey traffic laws and follow established traffic and transportation procedures.Read maps and follow written and verbal geographic directions.Report delays, accidents, or other traffic and transportation situations to warehouse manager using cellular telephone.Inspect and maintain vehicle supplies and equipment, such as gas, oil, water, tires, lights, and brakes in order to ensure vehicles are in proper working condition.Report any mechanical problems encountered with vehicles.Present bills and receipts and collect payments for goods delivered or loaded.Turn in receipts and money received from deliveries.Maintain records such as vehicle logs, records of cargo, or billing statements in accordance with regulations.Communicate with installers and job supervisors to coordinate deliveriesStack padCheck out materials from supply cage using the cage inventory logCut area rug padsMeasure and/or cut materials, as neededCall customers to arrange pick up or deliveries of ordersGeneral maintenance of warehouse/office areaProcess returned goods from job sites and customersRequirements:· Age 21 years or olderAt least high school diploma plus 1 year of previous experience in warehouse/delivery· Ability to understand and effectively communicate· Ability to calculate simple figures, amounts, and measurements· Ability to climb, lift, balance, walk, and stoop while handling flooring materials· Ability to push, pull, and lift materials weighing up to 50 lbs frequently and 70+lbs with assistance· Ability to meet deadlines and schedules; Work as part of a team· Ability to operate forklift equipment· Adhering to safety practices; handling hazardous materials· Ability to safely operate a box truck and/or van· Have a valid drivers license and a good driving record· Computer skills – Windows and MS Office preferredPreparing and maintaining accurate recordsBackground Check and Drug/Alcohol Test RequiredJob Type: Full-timeSalary: $18.00 - $21.00 per hourBenefits:401(k)Dental insuranceHealth insuranceLife insurancePaid time offVision insuranceDay range:Monday to FridayExperience level:1 year2 yearsCOVID-19 considerations:Yes, a mask policy in place for various locations.Education:High school or equivalent (Required)Experience:Warehouse: 1 year (Required)Truck driving: 1 year (Required)License/Certification:Driver's License/good driving record the last 3 years (Required)
