Job DescriptionJob DescriptionA well-established law firm in Coral Gables, Florida is seeking an Associate Attorney with liability experience to join its practice. The ideal candidate will manage a diverse caseload, work closely with partners and clients, and play an active role in litigation strategy and courtroom advocacy.Key ResponsibilitiesManage a caseload of general liability, premises liability, and insurance defense mattersDraft pleadings, motions, discovery responses, and legal memorandaConduct depositions, hearings, mediations, and trialsDevelop case strategies and evaluate liability exposureCommunicate regularly with clients, insurance carriers, and opposing counselMaintain billable hour requirements in accordance with firm standardsSupport partners with trial preparation and complex litigation mattersQualificationsJuris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law schoolActive Florida Bar membership in good standing2–4 years of litigation/liability defense experienceStrong knowledge of Florida civil procedure and evidentiary rulesExcellent writing, research, and advocacy skillsAbility to work independently while collaborating in a team environment\nCompany DescriptionThompson Staffing has been serving the South Florida community as recruiters for over 20 years.
