Job Description

Job Summary:
The CT Technologist will perform high-quality computed tomography imaging procedures, ensuring patient safety and image accuracy. They will supervise and train other radiology staff while managing call responsibilities on a rotating basis.

Responsibilities:

• Operate Siemens Somatom Perspective 64-slice CT scanner to acquire diagnostic images.
• Prepare patients for imaging examinations and explain procedures to ensure cooperation.
• Supervise and train junior radiology technologists in CT protocols and safety procedures.
• Manage after-hours call shifts, including weekday nights and occasional weekend coverage.
• Maintain equipment and ensure compliance with safety standards and protocols.
• Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare teams to deliver accurate diagnostic results.

Qualifications:

• Hold ARRT certification in Radiography (R) and CT (certified as required).
• Require valid state licensure and certification in radiologic technology.
• Have at least 2 years of experience performing CT scans.
• Demonstrate proficiency with Siemens CT scanners and GE MRI systems.
• Possess excellent patient care, communication, and teamwork skills.
• Be able to work flexible hours, including night shifts and weekends.
