Underwriter

Solugenix is assisting a client, a leading financial services company, in their search for an Underwriter. This is a 3-month contract opportunity based out of Fort Mill, SC (Remote).

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma Required and 5+ years underwriting and processing experience.
• Provides underwriting and supports processors and management in the coordination of conditions in order to complete underwriting or communicate to clients so that they can clear to close and review within require timelines.
• Able to fully review loans without the assistance of automatic underwriting in support of assumptions.

Responsibilities:

• Underwrites in a fully manual manner, performs credit qualifying of assumptions and related transactions in compliance with FHA, VA, FNMA and FHLMC requirements, clear communication or conditions in a manner that is processor and borrower friendly and able to clearly communicate with clients if conditions have already been submitted or condition does not seem to apply.
• Able to order title.

Pay Range for CA, CO, IL, NJ, NY, WA, and DC: $59.29/hour to $59.29/hour. Starting rate of pay offered may vary depending on factors including but not limited to, position offered, location, education, training, and/or experience.
