Physician Internal Medicine, Medical Oncology, Head and Neck Oncology (Open Rank/Track Faculty)

Ohio State University College of Medicine and the Wexner Medical Center seek a Head and Neck Oncologist to join the Department of Internal Medicine, Division of Medical Oncology. Academic rank and track will be determined by academic record and experience. Position Overview Physician specializing in Head and Neck Oncology to serve as a member of the Division of Medical Oncology. The role includes direct and indirect patient care in inpatient and outpatient settings, conducting ambulatory clinics, performing physical examinations, determining and implementing treatment plans, performing relevant oncology procedures, and ordering diagnostic and ancillary testing. The physician responds to consultation requests, documents all services in the medical record, educates patients and promotes wellness and early detection, participates in quality assessment and improvement activities, and serves as a preceptor for residents, fellows, medical students, nursing staff, and allied professionals. The physician also ensures continuing medical education requirements are met and participates in departmental, collegiate, and university committees and other service activities.
