Position Title: Travel Registered Nurse (RN)

Schedule: 12.5-Hour Shifts



Pay Rate: $40.32 - $47.04 Per Hour

Job Overview

We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Per Diem Registered Nurse (RN) - Med/Surg Pediatrics to provide exceptional nursing care to pediatric patients in an acute care setting. The ideal candidate will have strong clinical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a passion for delivering high-quality patient-centered care.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to pediatric medical-surgical patients.
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans.
• Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders.
• Monitor patient conditions and report significant changes to the healthcare team.
• Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and interdisciplinary staff to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans, medications, and discharge instructions.
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
• Adhere to infection prevention, safety, and regulatory standards.

Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) License required.
• Current BLS Certification required.
• PALS Certification preferred.
• Minimum of one year of recent Med/Surg and/or Pediatric nursing experience preferred.
• Strong assessment, critical thinking, and clinical skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
