Shift Details: 07:00 AM - 07:30 PM, 3 shifts per week, scheduled hours 36.

Job Order Details: Start date 06/01/2026, end date 08/31/2026, duration 13 weeks.

Unit Information: OR RN (701) at HCA Florida Northwest Hospital, located at 2801 N State Rd 7, Coconut Creek, FL 33063, on the 1st floor, building main, cost center 701.

General Information: Number of beds 7, type of staff varies on volume, clinical coordinator for all specialty service lines, type of staff rooms are staffed with 1 tech 1 RN or 2 RNs, patient ratios 1:1, type of equipment robotics, spine, vascular, documentation system Meditech.

Call Requirements: On-call is required of 1-2 shifts during the week and 1 weekend shift per 4-week period. Must be able to scrub and a circulator that knows all service lines. Rotating weekends are a possibility.

Typical Hiring Profile: Must have ACLS, BLS, 2 years current experience in acute OR setting, ortho, spine and joint replacement experience, knee and hip replacement experience.

List Typical Procedures Performed on Unit(s): Joint replacement, ENT, ortho, spine, urology, vascular, podiatry, thoracic surgery and plastic surgery.

Additional Preferences: PALS, CNOR, any charge experience.

RN is responsible for the observation, assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention and evaluation of care of all patients, proficient charting, multi-tasking, critical thinker, excellent bedside manner. Dress code: OR scrubs provided by the unit.
