Security Officer - 3rd Shift

Schweitzer Engineering Laboratories (SEL) is looking for someone to join our Physical Security team as a Security Operator in Pullman, WA. Be the trusted first line of support when it matters most. As a Security Operator, you'll combine customer service, problem-solving, and security awareness to help keep SEL safe and secure. This is a night shift position. Must be available to work Thursday, Friday, Saturday and every other Wednesday from 6:00pm-6:00am. Responsibilities Provide exceptional customer service while observing SEL security policies and culture. Create and maintain security documentation as required and perform compliance audits. Monitor alarms, assess the security implication of incidents, and respond appropriately. Qualifications Related associate degree or equivalent experience Skills in oral and written communication to prepare reports, programs, and other materials Ability to learn new skills and assume new responsibilities Ability to work cooperatively in a team environment Location: Pullman, WA – This position is located in Pullman, WA. Plus, benefit from excellent schools and universities in the area. Compensation Pay Range Data - $25.28 - $37.36 per hour You will also receive a shift differential of $10.00 per hour. We set starting pay based on job-related factors such as your experience, training, knowledge, and skills. We are looking to fill this position at the Security Operator level, and we welcome applicants with a range of experience.
