Job Title: RN Medical/Surgical PM Profession: RN Specialty: Medical/Surgical Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 07:00 PM - 07:30 AM Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 2 years License: Active RN License Certifications: NIHSS, BLS Must-Have: - Minimum of 2 years of RN experience in Medical-Surgical, telemetry, or progressive care unit. - Experience with EPIC electronic medical record/charting. - At least 1 year of travel nursing experience. - 1 year of experience in a level 1 adult trauma designated hospital or equivalent within the last 5 years. - Experience managing patient ratios of 1:4-6. Description: The RN will be assigned to a medical-surgical unit upon start. The patient population includes medicine, surgery, cardiac, and neurology. The RN will be assigned to the vacancy that best fits their experience. Work schedule consists of 36 hours per week, typically 3 shifts of 12 hours. Every other weekend work is required. RNs are expected to float to other equivalent units as needed. Patient ratios are typically 1:5-6.
