Description:
Hiring process consists of a profile review and an interview with the unit manager.
Profile review must be submitted.
Clienttion badge must be provided by the agency.
Department has 3 scanners/rooms, 2 fluoroscopy machines, 6 portable units, and 9 C-arms.
No requirement to float or cover other areas.
Common imaging studies performed include coverage of emergency department, inpatient, orthopedic, and spine in the operating room.
Experience in handling Level 1 Trauma is preferred.
Average number of scans/studies performed is between 20-30 per day.
The department uses EPIC and Fuji PACS for systems management.
Department-specific equipment includes GE.
Supervision is provided by a designated radiology supervisor.
Radiologist is available on-site during the day with remote coverage at night.
IV insertion is not a requirement for this position.
Shift scheduling ensures full coverage 24/7 with no self-scheduling.
Weekend and holiday requirements exist for this position.
Call requirements vary with a response time of approximately 30 minutes.
Scrubs are hospital-provided and typically in standard blue.
Training includes an equipment overview, department tour, and system setup.
In extreme circumstances, floating within specified zones may occur.
Cancellation policy allows for the hospital to cancel a limited number of shifts during assignments.
