As a Chemical Milling Technician , you’ll play an important role in preparing high-quality titanium aerospace components. This is an active, hands-on position where attention to detail, safety, and quality are essential.

What You'll Do

Chemical milling is an important aerospace manufacturing process used to precisely remove shallow layers of material from aircraft components and extruded parts. As a Chemical Milling Technician, you will help ensure titanium castings meet the required dimensions and quality standards.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Safely move titanium castings throughout the manufacturing area using a large hand cart.
• Deliver castings and materials to various departments throughout the facility.
• Process titanium castings through the chemical milling process to achieve specified dimensions.
• Perform sandblasting and other required processing activities.
• Operate a part dryer.
• Follow established procedures, safety requirements, and work instructions.
• Maintain a strong focus on quality, accuracy, and safe work practices .

What We're Looking For

You don't need years of aerospace experience to get started. We're looking for dependable, safety-minded individuals who are ready to learn and contribute to a team.

Minimum qualifications include:

• Prior manufacturing or industrial experience preferred.
• Ability to understand, follow, and communicate verbal and written instructions.
• Reliable attendance and adherence to company attendance standards.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
• High school diploma or GED preferred/required; candidates without a diploma or GED who have relevant experience may be considered.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Solid employment history, including at least one year with a previous or recent employer.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds , with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Willingness to complete a pre-employment background check.
• Willingness to participate in pre-employment and periodic drug screening.

Work Environment

This is a hands-on manufacturing environment. Employees may:

• Frequently work near moving mechanical equipment.
• Be exposed to dust and manufacturing-related materials.
• Work in an environment where noise levels are maintained within applicable OSHA regulations.
• Work in an environment where air quality is maintained within applicable OR-OSHA limits.

Schedule

Weekend Night Shift | 3 x 12-Hour Shifts
Friday – Sunday
$2.50/hour shift premium

Training may take place on a different shift before transitioning to the assigned weekend night schedule.
