To learn more, please visit the company’s website at Position Summary Laronde is searching for an Associate Scientist who brings collaborative drive, scientific rigor and a desire to change the world with new eRNA medicines for patients. The Senior Research Associate be an integral part of a multidisciplinary team that seeks to push the possibilities of endless RNA therapeutics. Key Responsibilities Setting up mammalian-cell assays in multi-well format to aid in the development of endless RNA therapeutics Assist in the design and development of experiments to examine the expression, function, and localization of proteins in cells Transfection of mammalian cell lines with DNA and RNA Handling and plating of primary cells, immune cells and cell lines for in vitro testing Analysis by flow cytometry to detect specific modalities Running of gels of different formats for the analysis of nucleic acids and proteins Western blots and immunofluorescence analysis Critical data analysis skills, attention to details and troubleshooting abilities. Maintain detailed records of experimental protocols and data in electronic laboratory notebook in accordance with company policy. Effectively collaborate with a fully integrated research team to facilitate the success of projects. Excellent organizational skills and documentation practices.
