Our client is growing and looking for a Mid-Level Litigation Associate to join our small, friendly team on a full-time basis . This role is ideal for an attorney who enjoys sophisticated civil litigation but wants flexibility and autonomy while working under the guidance of a senior attorney in a highly collaborative environment. We work on business, real estate, employment, copyright, and some selective injury (wrongful death cases).

You will work under the supervision of a senior attorney, with meaningful responsibility on files from intake through resolution, including motion practice, discovery, and case strategy support.

Key Responsibilities

• Draft and revise pleadings, motions, and memoranda in business and commercial litigation matters under the supervision of a senior attorney.

• Handle written discovery (drafting and responding to interrogatories, document requests, RFAs) and assist with meet-and-confer efforts.

• Analyze documents and evidence, help shape case themes, and prepare deposition outlines and hearing materials.

• Collaborate with and help oversee paralegals on filings, docketing, and discovery management.

• Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and the courts in a clear, professional manner.

What We're Looking For

• Mid-level attorney with strong business/commercial litigation experience ( Massachusetts-focused ).

• Extensive knowledge of the Massachusetts Rules of Civil Procedure and Federal Rules of Civil Procedure , particularly with respect to motion practice and discovery. Most know rule 9A .

• Comfortable working independently in a remote environment while being responsive to supervision and feedback from a senior attorney.

• Strong writing, judgment, and attention to detail, with a practical, problem-solving mindset.

• Ideally worked with Netdocs, CLIO, and other e-discovery vendors.

• Salary depending on experience, IRA, and health benefits. Mainly remote but go to office a few times a month and when there are depositions etc. Will have to attend hearings.
