Contract | Days (5x8 Hours, 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM) | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide skilled perioperative nursing care in a cardiovascular operating room setting
• Scrub and/or circulate on a broad range of surgical cases including CABG, MVR, AVR, TVR, ECMO, TAVR, TCAR, Impella insertion/removal, and thoracic/lung procedures
• Participate in on-call coverage, including one night per week (2:30 PM – 6:00 AM) and every fifth weekend (Saturday 7:00 AM through Monday 6:00 AM), with possible holiday call
• Document patient care accurately and efficiently using Epic electronic health records
• Float to other areas as needed in accordance with facility policy

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license — compact or Tennessee state license required
• Minimum of 2 years of CVOR experience
• Current ACLS certification required
• Demonstrated broad competency across cardiovascular and thoracic surgical cases and procedures
• Epic experience within the past 12 months, clearly documented and verifiable; candidates must pass a one-attempt Epic competency exam

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with ECMO, TAVR, TCAR, and Impella device management
• Prior travel nursing experience in a CVOR setting
