Experience:

• 36 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months.

• AS completion required.

Requirements:

• This role may require floating to additional units and locations

• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >50 miles from facility to be submitted.

• 24 months gap required between for Staff at Program: RightSourcing Program - Carle Health and no current placement allowed at Program: RightSourcing Program - Carle Health.

Additional Details:

Required Credentials: Associate’s Degree in Ultrasound. Temp Illinois licensure is not accepted.

Unit Details: Performs a full range of cardiac diagnostic testing and routine and complex echocardiographic sonography imaging procedures in the echocardiography laboratory; assists physicians and sonographers with echocardiographic exams. Cross-trains to other divisions of CV Services.

Shift & Scheduling: Monday-Friday. Weekend shifts are rotational. Holiday shifts negotiable.

Floating Requirements: Travelers assigned to the Greater Peoria Service Area may be required to float between the following sites: Carle Health Methodist Hospital, Carle Health Pekin Hospital, and/or Carle Health Proctor Hospital. The Carle Leader will notify the traveler directly when there is a need to float between locations.

7 days maximum time off. Maximum consecutive days off: 3

2 Charge/Lead references required from within the last 2 years

Driver’s license required

Certifications:

• BLS (Basic Life Support)

• RDCS (Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (ARDMS)) or the alternative certifications RCS, ACS
