Grinder OD/ID experience desired

· Machinist with a grinding background.

· Experience with manual grinding machinery.

· Able to hit the ground running.

· Set up manual machine shop equipment

Required Skills

• 5+ years of precision grinding experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of surface, cylindrical, centerless, or tool grinding.
• Ability to read blueprints and engineering specifications.
• Experience with precision measuring tools including micrometers, calipers, bore gauges, height gauges, and indicators.
• Knowledge of geometric tolerancing (GD&T).
• Ability to hold tolerances as close as ±0.0002 inches when required.
• Experience grinding hardened steels, stainless steel, aluminum, titanium, and aerospace alloys.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Experience in aerospace, military, or government contract manufacturing is highly desirable.
• High attention to detail, quality, and safety.
