Requirements Creds - EM privs avail with completed app can take 1-2 days for them to process app if fully completed Start- As soon as cred. Willing to license- IMLC accepted Ongoing Need Beeper call- NOT IN HOUSE Cardiac OR CATH Lab EP Card imaging 3 CATH procedures per day 1 OR case Typically schedule 1 OR case a day of OR and day of CATH if working multiple days 2 or 3 imaging studies per day. Solo model- no support staff no CRNAs Cases- logs required last 12 months minimum expectations TBD full spectrum of bypass cases recent extensive in neonatal a bonus/nice to have if primarily CATH vs OR experience worth presenting still Age range- 18 patients presenting for cath/EP cardiac CT/MRI and non-cardiac procedures requiring anesthesia will be evaluated by the pediatric cardiac anesthesia team and appropriate staffing will be determined and provided. Will not cover: OB Gen Peds Call Adult Call Any adult cases other than adult congenital cardiac Peds Card. Anes will cover Daytime M-F other peds cases when avail CORE CARDIAC TEAM will support: • All bypass cardiac surgery cases. • Select cardiac catheterization cases with back-up at minimum for all cases • Neonatal cases • Mediastinal explorations • Cardiac ECMO procedures • Quality and process improvement initiatives. • Program development and growth activities. • Participation in Heart Center governance. Physicians designated as members of the Core Cardiac Team shall meet one or both of the following qualifications: Fellowship Pathway • Completion of an accredited Pediatric Cardiac Anesthesia Fellowship or equivalent advanced subspecialty training and • Board Certification or Board Eligibility in Pediatric Anesthesiology. Without Peds Card Anes Fellowship- will consider on case by case basis if they demonstrate substantial experience • Neonatal cardiac surgery. • Infant cardiac surgery. • Complex congenital heart surgery. • Interventional cardiology procedures. • Electrophysiology procedures. Shift Info: Day 5x10-Hour 07:00 - 17:00
