Senior Technical Business Analyst

Role Summary In this role, you will act as the main interface between technology teams and product/business stakeholders. Incumbents help define business requirements, build application and process specifications, coordinate with delivery teams, and ensure that work is prioritized by business value and in alignment with the overarching business and technical strategies. Incumbents may be involved in the writing of technical materials/documentation. Responsibilities Accountability for work of self and sometimes others, provides process and standards advice in area of specialty. Work independently. Define complex or enterprise-wise business needs for new and/or enhanced products, services, or optimized business processes. Work closely with and develop relationships with a variety of senior level internal and external business partners to ensure that all business requirements are understood, documented, and met. Ensure a lean‑agile mindset is applied to work projects. Work on initiatives of moderate complexity, size and impact. Ability to break down complex or vague problems and steps through them in a rational way. Evolution of a decision as new information is gained. Find opportunities for process improvements. Assist in implementation of new processes as technologies, risks, and methodologies evolve. Identify when junior engineers need help and provide assistance in a positive way that promotes confidence. Display dedication to helping team members and make suggestions to improve practices. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications Required: BS or MS in Computer Science or a related technical field (or equivalent experience), with 5+ years of professional experience acting as a technical analyst within a Salesforce development team. Deep knowledge of core Salesforce capabilities, especially within the Sales and Service cloud offerings. Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities. Experience with analyzing data via query languages, such as SQL and SOQL. Experience updating Salesforce data leveraging tools such as Validity Demand Tools. Results‑driven with a passion for learning and staying current with emerging technologies. Ability to create comprehensive requirements stories and documents for technical teams. Ability to translate technical concepts to non‑technical stakeholders. Preferred: Understanding of financial markets and financial instruments, especially within the B2B sector. Work Flexibility This role is eligible for hybrid work, with up to three days per week from home. Base Salary Ranges Maryland, Colorado, Washington and remote workers: $96,500.00 - $164,000.00. Washington, D.C.: $105,000.00 - $180,000.00. New York, California: $120,000.00 - $205,000.00. Placement within the range provided above is based on the individual’s relevant experience and skills for the role. Base salary is only one component of our total compensation package. Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus, which is determined upon company and individual performance.
