Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse (RN) – Medical/Surgical Telemetry Transplant Unit – Wisconsin

Start Date: October 12, 2026

Location: Madison, Wisconsin

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: Night shift, 12-hour shifts, 1900-0730. Four 12-hour shifts per week available. Every other weekend and holiday rotation required. Patient ratio 1:4.

• Specialize in post-transplant care for kidney, pancreas, and liver transplant patients from across the United States
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including IV teams, respiratory services, pharmacy, and rapid response teams
• EPIC charting system experience required; telemetry monitoring on the unit
• 32-bed transplant specialty unit with comprehensive interdisciplinary support
• Strong supportive team environment with opportunities to empower patients through education and specialized care

Requirements:

• Active Wisconsin RN license or compact RN license
• Minimum 2 years of acute care experience within the last 3 years required
• BLS certification required (AHA only)
• EPIC charting system experience required
• Must pass telemetry examination prior to start with strict passing criteria: 100% identification of lethal rhythms, 80% overall passing score
• Trauma Level I experience preferred
• Proficiency in telemetry interpretation, dysrhythmia management, IV insulin protocols, central line management, and transplant-related care
• Flu vaccine required (medical/religious exemptions only)
• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility
