The Processor Specialist is responsible for processing clinical specimens received in the laboratory. Under limited supervision and according to approved procedures, performs a variety of laboratory support procedures including specimen collection, order entry, processing, all while maintaining patient confidentiality. Processor accepts assignments to various work locations within the Kelsey-Seybold Clinic geographic locations and schedules as required.

Required Qualifications:

• HS Diploma or equivalent
• No experience is required
• Demonstrate a teamwork mindset, initiative and open to new learning experiences
• Demonstrated ability to follow written and verbal instructions and provide outstanding customer service
• Proven self-directed
• Proven excellent time management skills- ability to work independently and prioritize tasks
• Proven positive, can do attitude coupled with a sense of urgency

Preferred Qualifications:

• 1+ years of laboratory training or experience in specimen collection and processing
• Lab data entry experience
