Position Overview
We invite you to bring your expertise and compassion to our dynamic team as a Sonography / Ultrasound Technologist. In this role, you will utilize cutting-edge ultrasound technology to perform a wide range of diagnostic assessments, working closely with a team of healthcare professionals dedicated to delivering top-notch imaging services. Responsibilities That Matter
- Conduct various ultrasound examinations, including but not limited to abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and small parts imaging
- Prioritize patient comfort and safety, clearly explaining procedures with empathy
- Collaborate with radiologists and medical staff to produce high-quality diagnostic images
- Maintain and operate imaging equipment diligently, promptly addressing any malfunctions
- Accurately log procedures and oversee patient data within the electronic medical records system
- Remain knowledgeable about advancements in ultrasound imaging techniques and standards
Education Pathway
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or related field
- CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program completion is preferred
Required Certifications
- Active certification from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or equivalent
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is preferred
