Position Overview

• Conduct various ultrasound examinations, including but not limited to abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and small parts imaging
• Prioritize patient comfort and safety, clearly explaining procedures with empathy
• Collaborate with radiologists and medical staff to produce high-quality diagnostic images
• Maintain and operate imaging equipment diligently, promptly addressing any malfunctions
• Accurately log procedures and oversee patient data within the electronic medical records system
• Remain knowledgeable about advancements in ultrasound imaging techniques and standards

Education Pathway

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or related field
• CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program completion is preferred

Required Certifications

• Active certification from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or equivalent
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is preferred
