Pay is on an annual step progression. Actual compensation may vary due to factors such as experience and skill set.Full health insurance benefits on day oneLife and disability insuranceEarn up to 13 days PTO over your first year9 paid company holidays401(k) option with company matchEducation assistanceWhat you'll do on a typical day:Safely operate a straight truck (GVWR or GVW of 26,001 lb. or more)Provide excellent service to customers, including generating sales leadsLoad and unload freightOperate a straight truck based on State specific regulations for intrastate commercial straight trucksOperate a forklift and pallet jack to load and unload freightLift objects of various shapes, sizes and weights (up to 50 lbs. frequently and greater than 75 lbs. occasionally)Safely climb in/out of a straight truck/box truckSit for extended periods of time in a straight truck/box truck and/or forklift; safely operate heavy equipment and a forkliftWalk and stand for extended periods of time on various surfaces that may be uneven or slippery (including working outdoors in inclement weather)Reach (including above your head), bend, climb, push, pull, twist, squat and kneelOperate a straight truck for up to 11 consecutive hours, in all types of weather, while safely transporting hazardous and non-hazardous materialsPursuant to U.S. Department of Labor requirements, the worker must be able to read and speak the English language sufficiently to converse with the general public, understand highway traffic signs and signals in English, respond to official inquiries, and make entries on reports and record.About XPO:XPO is a top ten global provider of transportation services, with a highly integrated network of people, technology and physical assets.
