Job Summary:
An MRI Technologist position is available in New York, New York. This role involves operating and preparing specialized equipment to perform magnetic resonance imaging procedures. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day. The position includes evening shifts from 12:00 PM to 8:00 PM, Monday through Friday.

Job Details:

• Certifications, Education Requirements, Degree Requirements, Location Requirements, and Years of Experience: Graduate of a JCERT approved School of Radiologic Technology; New York State License (L.R.T); American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT Certified); requiring two years of MRI experience.
• Schedule: Monday-Friday, 12pm-8pm with minimum of 37.5 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Strong background in cross sectional anatomy, physical sciences and MRI physics; excellent technical skills; knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy and physiology; two (2) years' experience in MRI; EMR proficiency in IDX (Radiology Information System).
• Additional Information: The position entails performing MRI procedures, maintaining safety standards, ensuring proper image quality and documentation, and adhering to infection control policies. Candidates must be in good standing with licensure and certifications specific to the role.
