B-Shift Engine Room Supervisor

SUMMARY This position may be responsible for planning and supervising the execution of cost effective and timely maintenance necessary for the operation of all equipment, directing and coordinating maintenance personnel, working with contractors and engineering on equipment modifications or installations, and troubleshooting technical problems. OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES Maintaining relevant records and ensuring OSHA standards and programs are implemented. Instructing personnel in the use of personal protective equipment. Improving ergonomics within the facility. Maintaining compliance with Process Safety Management Standards. Developing skills of team members. Managing high pressure boiler, compressed air, hot water generation, and HVAC systems. Coordinating team member schedules, handling time and attendance records, holding monthly safety meetings, and performing additional duties. REQUIREMENTS Education: Education beyond high school, special training, vocational school or college courses. Tyson Level 8 training in the MT or ERT program preferred. Experience: 3+ years in industrial maintenance; experience with anhydrous ammonia mechanical refrigeration and high‑pressure boiler maintenance preferred. Computer skills: Elementary computer skills (checking email, entering data, creating simple queries). Travel: 1–5 trips per year. Supervisory skills: Responsible for supervising a group of personnel performing related tasks. Please submit a resume for review.
