Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Rotating Shifts (Days / Evenings / Nights) | Includes Weekends, Holidays, On-Call, Callback, and Charge Duties per Unit Needs

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to post-operative patients on a 28-bed progressive care unit specializing in gastrointestinal, genitourinary, and head and neck surgeries
• Care for patients with oncological diseases across a varied and changing patient population
• Monitor patients via telemetry and respond appropriately to changes in condition
• Collaborate as part of a multidisciplinary team to ensure safe, high-quality patient outcomes
• Assume charge nurse responsibilities as needed per unit requirements

Required Qualifications

• Active New York State RN License (NY License ONLY)
• Minimum of two (2) years of RN experience
• Telemetry experience required
• BLS certification – American Heart Association ONLY
• ACLS certification – American Heart Association ONLY

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience in surgical oncology, urology, ENT, or colorectal nursing
• Comfort working in a fast-paced, evolving clinical environment
• Prior charge nurse or leadership experience
