Our truck drivers build relationships with each customer using their positive, friendly attitude and become familiar with their operations to meet needs and expectations. \n Minimum Requirements: \n \n 21+ years of age \n License to drive - valid Class A Commercial Driver License (CDL) with a clean driving record \n Must submit to a pre-employment background check and drug screen \n Ability to read, write, and communicate in English \n Touch freight – may need to lift, push, or move product weighing an average of 40-60 pounds and as much as 100 pounds repeatedly \n Flexibility – overtime as required, weekends and holidays as business needs require \n \n Preferred Requirements: \n \n 1 year of customer delivery experience \n 6 months of hand cart/hand truck experience \n 6 months of Food and Beverage experience \n 2 years of consistent work history \n \n Sysco is an Equal Opportunity Employer: All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, disability status, protected veteran status, or other characteristics protected by law. \n (*The pay range provided is not indicative of Sysco’s actual pay range but is merely algorithmic and provided for generalized comparison.
