About the Position

• Perform routine and advanced CT examinations independently and according to radiologist protocols.
• Operate CT equipment safely and efficiently to produce high-quality diagnostic images.
• Perform MIP, MPR, and 3D imaging as required.
• Perform venipuncture and administer contrast according to facility protocols.
• Assist with procedures such as biopsies and drainages.
• Perform vascular and cardiac imaging, trauma, and stroke CT examinations.
• Work independently without direct supervision in an acute hospital setting.
• Maintain accurate patient records and follow radiation safety and infection-control protocols.
• Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.
• Experience with Canon/Toshiba CT units and Vitrea workstation is preferred

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of recent experience in an acute hospital setting; 3 years minimum experience listed for the position.
• Current Hawaii Radiologic Technologist License as a Radiographer required by the start of the assignment.
• ARRT (CT) certification required.
• Current BLS/BCLS certification required.
• Must be able to perform routine CT scans independently.
