Hackensack Meridian Mountainside Medical Center is an 820,000-square-foot facility that offers the latest medical programs, cutting-edge technology, and patient-focused care that includes 365 beds, 1,200+ employees and a 27-bed Emergency Room/Fast Track Unit.

Responsibilities

The Clinical Navigator RN demonstrates critical thinking, initiative and expertise in oncology.
He/she will provide care coordination throughout the cancer continuum.
In additi on, the Clinical Navigator RN is responsible to coordinate and provide survivorship information for ongoing health and wellness according to the Commission on Cancer (CoC) standard requirements.

Qualifications

Job Requirements:

Associ ate’s Degree in Nursing .
2+ years’ experience as an Oncology Registered Nurse .
Current valid NJ State Professional Registered Nurse License .
Fluency in the English language to function in job environment appropriately .
Demonstrate knowledge of clinical guidelines (e.g. NCCN, AJCC, CoC) and specialty resources throughout the disease process.

Preferred Job Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Nursing.
Oncolo gy Certified Nurse.
M ust be willing to obtain within 1 year of employment .
Demonstrate knowledge of current computer systems, equipment or programs used in the organiz ation, knowledge of Epic.
Bilingual .
