Job Title: RN - Labor & Delivery (LDRP/Mother-Baby)
Location: Silver City, NM 88061
Duration: 13 Weeks
Start Date: ASAP
Shift: Days, 3x12 (7:00 AM - 7:00 PM)

Job Description:

We are seeking experienced Labor & Delivery RNs for a 13-week crisis response assignment at a critical access hospital. The RN will provide care across LDRP, Mother/Baby, Couplet Care, and Nursery , ensuring safe delivery and postpartum care for mothers and newborns.

Requirements:

L&D + Mother/Baby experience required
ACLS, BLS, NRP, AWHONN Intermediate required
Active New Mexico RN License or Compact License (required at submission)
Meditech experience preferred
Must be comfortable working weekends and holidays
First-time travelers accepted

Responsibilities:

Manage labor and delivery , including assisting with vaginal deliveries
Provide postpartum and couplet care
Perform newborn assessments including APGAR scoring
Care for patients in antepartum, LDRP, and nursery settings
Support C-section recovery and postpartum care
Collaborate with providers to ensure safe maternal and neonatal outcomes
Maintain accurate documentation in EMR systems

Smoke/Nicotine-Free Campus

Additional Info:

Guaranteed hours
Must be able to arrive within 30 minutes if on-call
Travelers within 70 miles considered local (not accepted)
Floating may be required based on unit needs
